The president is scheduled to speak about the tourism economy, just before the start of Memorial Day Weekend.</p><p></p><p>Jeff Katz, mayor of Cooperstown, says the village is eagerly awaiting the arrival of President Barack Obama on Thursday.</p><p>“It’s very exciting.
