Rutland Fatal en Vermont Man Held after Pedestrian Killed in Crash <p>A 23-year-old Vermont man is being held on charges stemming from a crash that killed a 17-year-old girl in Rutland.<br><br>Police say Alex Spanos of Rutland was inhaling chemicals before his car went off the road Wednesday and into a parked car, pushing it into 17-year-old Carly Ferro, a pedestrian who had just walked out of a store.<br><br>Ferro died in the hospital.
