U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara http://wamc.org en Two Newburgh Gang Members Are Sentenced http://wamc.org/post/two-newburgh-gang-members-are-sentenced <p>Members of a Newburgh street gang have been sentenced for various offenses.&nbsp;</p><p>U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara says a former leader of the Newburgh Bloods, Anthony Boykin, was sentenced to life plus 32 years in prison. Bharara says Justin Simmons, who was also with the Newburgh Bloods, was sentenced to 50 years in prison. NRC Spokesman Neil Sheehan says the allegations concern fuel for Indian Point’s backup emergency diesel generators.</p><p>He says the NRC found that the generators would have functioned with the contaminated fuel.
