CSX freight train derailment http://wamc.org en NY Fines CSX $10K Over Oil Train Derailments http://wamc.org/post/ny-fines-csx-10k-over-oil-train-derailments <p>The state Department of Transportation has fined CSX Railroad $10,000 for failing to report two oil train derailments within an hour of the accidents as required by state law.</p><p></p><p></p><p>A Feb. 25 derailment in Kingston involved empty rail cars that had been off-loaded of crude oil.
