Food Pantry Fights State Budget Cut

Springfield, MA – The operators of the largest emergency food pantry in Western Massachusetts have launched a campaign to persuade the state legislature to restore funds Governor Patrick cut from the state budget. The director of Open Pantry Community Services in Springfield says if the vetoed money is not restored, the 30 year old agency will close its doors...WAMC's Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill reports...
