U-S Coast Guard Patrolling Lake Champlain Ferries Under Homeland Security Orange Alert Status

Final New York State Forum Held in Advance of National Conference on Aging

Plattsburgh, NY – New York Lieutenant Governor Mary Donahue and the head of the state Office for the Aging were in Plattsburgh today for a pre-White House Conference on Aging Regional Forum. The Lieutenant Governor has been attending similar conferences across the state in advance of the national conference to gather information and set statewide priorities for dealing with issues surrounding aging.

HV Opens Doors for Empire State Games

NY Tire-Burning Proposal Is Out for Comment

Ravena, NY – The public comment period is underway for a tire-burning proposal for Albany County. The proposal comes from Lafarge North America, and the plan is to burn tires as a source of fuel at its Ravena Cement Plant.
