NY Legislators See Economic Link With Italy

Albany, NY – The New York State Conference of Italian-American legislators is headed in a new direction. After years of focusing on cultural links with Italy, the legislators will start down a path of realizing economic opportunities. Clergy Attending Training Sessions

Burlington, VT – In 2003, the Vermont Legislature added clergy to the list of people required by law to report suspected incidences of child abuse and neglect. The Vermont Department for Children and Families is currently holding training sessions so that clergy can learn about reporting requirements and discuss any challenges they face when reporting suspected abuse.

HITS-on-the-Hudson Bolsters Local Economy

Saugerties, NY – It's been about one year since the head of one of the nation's largest horse show circuits held a grand opening for the shows' permanent summer residence. The site is in the Hudson Valley's Ulster County, and officials had predicted a boon for the local economy to the tune of millions of dollars.
