Vermont Yankee Chided for Violations

Vernon, Vt – The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is reprimanding the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Plant over a collapsed cooling tower and unplanned reactor shutdown. At the same time, the Commission's judicial board has decided it will review a complaint filed by an anti-nuclear group about the proposed plan for a license extension. WAMC's North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
