NY Brownfield Cleanup Regulations Under Scrutiny

Albany, NY – Environmentalists contend current brownfield cleanup regulations are not protective enough and will jeopardize the health of countless New Yorkers. They've released a report entitled "Cleaning Up: Fixing New York's Broken Brownfield Cleanup Program" in which several flaws are cited, flaws THEY say will allow "cleaned" sites to pose toxic threats to children and the environment...Capital District Bureau Chief Dave Lucas reports.
