8-31 Interview - Thomas Cole Estate

Albany, NY – The painter Thomas Cole is well known for sweeping landscapes, and epic series like The Voyage of Life. Many of the images he created depicted views from his home in Catskill, NY, called Cedar Grove. Cedar Grove fell into disrepair following Cole's death. But that's changed in recent years. The site is a national historic site that's open to the public, and has enjoyed recent infusions of money.
