Northampton, MA – Congressman Maurice Hinchey and Congressman Bernie Sanders are among the people scheduled to speak at a media reform conference that starts tomorrow. The conference is run by a small non-profit group in Northampton, Massachusetts. It will take place in St. Louis and can be watched live over the internet. An attorney and former assistant to Vice-President Dan Quayle says the conference is much ado about nothing. WAMC's Eesha Williams reports.

Poughkeepsie, NY – The chairman of General Electric announced this week an initiative to develop environmental technologies, and with it, a multimedia advertising campaign, all under the title of "Ecomagination".
