Schumer's plan to help school buses become more fuel efficient

NY – As Upstate New York school districts gear up for the start of a new school year face the increased cost of fuel to transport them on buses, U.S. Senator Charles Schumer Wednesday announced a plan to help school transportation become more fuel efficient by alleviating some of the upfront cost burden of purchasing hybrid buses, which get better gas mileage than a standard school bus.
