South Glens Falls Police Chief Kevin Judd says photos on social networking sites were given to his department by people concerned about the Nov. 3 party at the Spare Time bowling alley.

At least one of the images shows a scantily clad, tattooed woman clinging upside down to a seated teen as others look on.

Verizon, AT&T say cell network back up after Sandy

Verizon and AT&T say their wireless networks are fully operational after Hurricane Sandy blew into the New York and New Jersey on Oct. 29th – more from WAMC’s Dave Lucas

Verizon says its network is at pre-storm levels, while AT&T says its network is “back to normal”…

Federal regulators said Sandy knocked about 25 percent of cell towers belonging to all carriers in a coastal area spread over parts of 10 states.

Gillibrand Announces Farm-to-School Initiative for Poughkeepsie Schools

U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand has announced a federal grant of $100,000 that will go to the Poughkeepsie City School District to establish a farm-to-school initiative. More from WAMC's Dave Lucas.

Gillibrand says the initiative's primary goals are to incorporate regionally produced foods into school meals, and to enhance foods systems education.  At each stage in the project, there will be collaboration between Hudson Valley farmers, value-added processors, distributors, school administrative staff, families, students and community stakeholders.

NY crash kills 2; Jeep jumped rail between lanes

State police say two people are dead after a Jeep Wrangler jumped a guard rail and crashed into an Audi in the oncoming lane of Route 17 in Orange County. WAMC’s Dave Lucas has details.

Troopers say 29-year-old Julian Hermosillo of Chester lost control of his Jeep shortly after 8:30 p.m. Sunday and crossed over the rail. He collided with an Audi driven by Vincent Avanzato of Oneonta. Avanzato was hospitalized in critical condition on Monday.
