51% Show #1210

(:46)

The name Elizabeth Warren is one which has become well known during America’s economic crisis.  She chaired the Congressional Oversight Panel for TARP – the Trouble Assets Relief Program. She appeared in Michael Moore’s Capitalism, A Love Story, bluntly calling out Wall Street for its role in creating the economic meltdown.

She helped create the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, making lending more transparent and working to eliminate unfair lending practices.

And now she’s running for the US Senate on the Democratic line against Republican Scott Brown in a race that’s expected to be a critical one for determining which party controls the Senate.
