Dr. Michelle Segar, a behavioral sustainability scientist, believes that exercise does not have to be a rigid, draining endurance test to do a body—and mind and spirit—good. She is director of the Sports, Health, & Activity Research and Policy (SHARP) Center at the University of Michigan.
