Ray Brook, NY – The Adirondack Park Agency on Friday approved plans for a cell tower on Pilot Knob near Lake George. The project was opposed by the Adirondack Council and other groups who said Nextel's plan to camouflage the tower as a fake pine would not meet the APA's mandate to substantially disguise any tower in the Adirondacks.
