Albany County Exec., Colonie's Mahan Re-Elected, and Guilderland's Peter Barber Wins

Albany County Exectutive Dan McCoy overwhelmingly won re-election with more than 69% of the vote, defeating Republican Joseph Vitollo and Green Party candidate Dan Plaat . In Colonie Democrat Paula Mahan won the seat for Town Supervisor beating Republican Christine Benedict 10,240 to 8,467 votes. Meanwhile in Guilderland, Democrat Peter Barber topped Republican Brian Forte 4,050 to 3,651 votes for the Town Supervisor position. In the town of Bethlehem, John Clarkson is holding a slight lead, 41 votes, over Jim Foster for Town supervisor.
