Triple Crown Winner American Pharoah will run in Saratoga's biggest race this Saturday.
On Sunday afternoon Justin Zayat, son of owner Ahmed Zayat, tweeted a video announcing American Pharoah's entry to the 146th Travers Stakes.
The New York Racing Association said it will raise the purse from $1.25 million to $1.6 million and is urging race fans "not to travel to Saratoga Race Course on August 29 without tickets purchased in advance."
NYRA officials capped the sold out race day at 50,000 attendees.
