Two people were killed when an Amtrak train carrying 180 passengers partially derailed last night after colliding with a truck in Mansfield, Massachusetts, outside Boston. No one on the train was injured, but the two occupants of the vehicle confirmed dead by the MBTA police. The train bound for Boston from Washington was forced off the tracks after striking the vehicle in what local police are referring to as a “very large crime scene.” Amtrak tweeted that service has been restored.
