Anti-Gay Protesters in Plattsburgh Sunday

Plattsburgh, NY – Members of Fred Phelp's Westboro Baptist Church were in Plattsburgh, New York Sunday to rail against the city and its churches for electing an openly gay man as mayor. The anti-gay group is known for its abrasive style. While there were shouting matches during the protests, the demonstrations were non-violent and had most city residents shaking their heads in disgust or amazement at the antics.
