The Arkell Museum at Canajoharie
By Joe Donahue
From Giverny to the Brooklyn Bridge: American Impressionist Paintings from the Arkell Collections is currently on display at The Arkell Museum in Canajoharie. The exhibition features remarkable American Impressionist paintings - sun-dappled views of France and America by Childe Hassam, John Twachtman, Theodore Robinson, J. Alden Weir, and Edward Redfield are among the notable paintings in this exhibition.
There is a curator’s talk about the exhibition this weekend.
Museum Director and Chief Curator, Diane Forsberg, and Library Director, Leah Lafera join us now to talk about that and other goings-on at The Arkell.
