Berkshire Beef Group Beats USDA in Tracking Animals

Richmond, MA – A Berkshire County-based livestock group is ahead of the US Department of Agriculture in developing a tracking system for their cattle. The push to create such a program at the federal level was intensified after an outbreak of mad cow disease...but the system is still in the process of being developed. WAMC's Kelly Wilkinson has the update.
