City Office Hopes to Bring Arts Dollars and Cooperation

Pittsfield, MA – Arts and culture are a big business in Berkshire County and a major driver of the local economy. Its an area Pittsfield is looking to as it hopes to improve its economy and cultural reputation. Last night, the Pittsfield city council created a new office of Cultural Development which many say can provide a framework for the arts scene to better grow.
