Clarence Fanto's Interview with Joshua Bell - 2/16
Albany, NY – Classical superstar violinist Joshua Bell, who's a special favorite with younger audiences, is paying a rare visit to the Hudson Valley this weekend. He's performing at the Bardavon Opera House in Poughkeepsie on Saturday evening at 8. With pianist Jeremy Denk, Bell will play works of Mozart, Beethoven, Bartok, and Prokofiev. WAMC's Clarence Fanto talked with Bell recently about his career, which began when he was 14, and about his upcoming concert program.
