Cleaning the Hudson

Troy, NY – Projects to clean up the Hudson River in Albany, Rensselaer and Greene counties got a boost today with an award of $2 million in state grant money. The funds will go toward installing functional disinfection systems in the region's wastewater treatment plants-with hopes of a swimmable river by 2009.
