A 12 vehicle pileup on Interstate 88 shut down part of the highway yesterday. The crash involved three semis, eight cars, and a bus. There were no fatalities and only eight people were injured. AllOtsego.com reports that it was the worst incident First Assistant Chief Paul Neske of the Schenevus Fire Department has seen on I-88 in his 40 years as a firefighter. The scene has now been cleared.
