Committee Rewriting State Campaign Finance Law

Montpelier, VT – Committees in the Vermont Legislature are working to get critical legislation to their chamber floor for cross-over to the opposite chamber by the end of the day. Early this afternoon, a campaign finance reform package made it out of a Senate committee for cross-over. It's being crafted in the aftermath of the U.S. Supreme Court declaring Vermont's previous law unconstitutional. WAMC's North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
