Congressional Corner with MA's Richard Neal 12/02/03
Albany, NY – Representative Richard Neal was the Mayor of the City of Springfield, Massachusetts before taking his seat in Congress in 1988. That city is one of the first in the nation to purchase prescription drugs from Canada for it's employees. The new medicare bill, recently passed by both Houses, will prohibit this practice. David Galletly is in the Congressional Corner with Richard and asks him about the bill, prescription drugs and the future of medicare.
