Dr. Duncan Cumming, University at Albany
Albany, NY – In today's Acacemic Minute, Dr. Duncan Cumming of the University at Albany discusses the unforeseen difficulties faced by a touring concert pianist.
Duncan Cumming is an assistant professor of music at the University at Albany and has performed concertos, recitals, and chamber music concerts around the world, including The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. He holds a Doctor of Music from from Boston University and a master's degree in music from the New England Conservatory and frequently performs as part of the Capital Piano Trio. He received a full scholarship from the European Mozart Foundation and participated in intense chamber music study and performance at the European Mozart Academy in Prague.
