The selection of a new pope has electrified Catholics gathered in Rome and around the world.
Dr. Jeffrey Marlett, professor of religious studies at the College of Saint Rose and expert on papal succession and history and Roman Catholicism in the U.S., spoke live today with WAMC's Brian Shields on the election of Pope Francis I.
