Albany, NY – In today's Academic Minute, Dr. Jos Holgu n-Veras of Rensselear Polytechnic Institute explores the importance of freight transportation to the American economy.

Dr. Holgu n-Veras is professor of civil and environmental engineering. He earned a Ph.D. in transportation at the University of Texas at Austin.

His areas of interest include decision support systems, operations research, and transportation.
