EPA: Dig planned for NY site of old fort beams

Fort Edward, NY – U.S. Environmental Protection Agency officials say the agency will oversee an archaeological excavation at the Hudson River site where crews dredging PCB-contaminated sediment mistakenly ripped out the remains of a colonial-era fort.
