The Times Union reports that math teacher Herman McLean of Wynantskill’s Vanderheyden Hall School for troubled teens, was fired after the school discovered he had falsified his credentials. In a statement issued yesterday, the independent school said questions arose about McLean’s background as a result of an internal audit. On Saturday, town police charged McLean with second degree criminal impersonation and five counts of possession of a forged document.
