Fate of HV Americorps Programs Lies With Legislators

Poughkeepsie, NY – The Senate voted last week to restore funding for AmeriCorps programs. Even if the bill that contains this funding makes it through the House and President Bush's signs it into law, the Hudson Valley still has no guarantee of its programs' survival. WAMC's Hudson Valley Bureau Chief Allison Dunne reports.
