A federal trial has been scheduled for two New York men accused of operating a large-scale drug organization in Vermont and Maine.
Gary Delima and Sharif Cargo face charges including conspiracy to distribute narcotics, money laundering and trafficking children for sex.

The trail is scheduled to begin on Oct. 24 in Rutland and is scheduled to last 20 days.

Delima and Cargo were arrested in Auburn, Maine, in March 2015 at a location believed to be one of their bases of operation.

Authorities say Delima and Cargo sold drugs to local customers and dealers and sent the proceeds to New York City.

Delima's attorney didn't return a call seeking comment.

Cargo's attorney Thomas Sherrer said he had no comment.
