Gonzales Appointment Will Affect Region

Northampton, MA – Since Congress passed the USA Patriot Act in 2001, four states and hundreds of cities around the country have formally opposed the Act. Much of the organizing for those resolutions was done by a small organization in Western Massachusetts called the Bill of Rights Defense Committee. Now the group is fighting the nomination of Alberto Gonzales for attorney general. WAMC's Pioneer Valley bureau Chief Eesha Williams reports.
