MONTAGNE: Google ended 2011 with lackluster profits and began this year with a public relations problem as users complained about its new privacy policy. But the company now seems to have rebounded. The company also announced a stock split that will allow its founders to remain firmly in control of the company. Transcript provided by NPR, Copyright NPR.
