Governor Considers Independent Observer for Nuke Review

Montpelier, VT – The Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Plant is scheduled to undergo a special inspection as part of the Public Service Board's conditional approval of a plan to increase the plant's power output. Vermont Governor James Douglas says he may request the addition of an independent observer to the team conducting that engineering inspection. More from North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley.
