Guitarist Jimmy Herring

American Guitar Hero, stunning jazz/rock virtuoso, musician's musician, and a note-mongering master - those are some of the praises sung by fans and reviewers of guitarist Jimmy Herring.

His work spans over two decades, and he was the founding member of groups like The Aquarium Rescue Unit, and Project Z; he’s played with The Other Ones, Phil Lesh & Friends, and The Allman Brothers Band, and is currently lead guitarist for Widespread Panic. And in his down time, Herring tours and plays with his own band. His newest album is Subject to Change Without Notice, and Jimmy Herring will be performing at The Egg in Albany, New York,  Sunday November 18th.
