Illegal worker sweeps start here

Guilderland, NY – The tip-off for the sweeping investigation of illegal immigrants employed at IFCO-systems around the nation came from the company's Guilderland facility just outside Albany. While Homeland Security Director Michael Chertoff says it was the biggest immigration sweep the nation has seen, U.S. Attorneys in Albany say it's not the first in the Capital Region.
