Judge Rules AG Must Act re: Illegal Campaign Ads

Burlington, VT – A Superior Court Judge has refused to stop a national group from running ads promoting the re-election of Vermont Governor James Douglas, even though the state attorney general has said they violate the state's campaign finance laws. The judge made his ruling because the group bringing the suit did not have proper legal standing. North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
