A Vermont man has been accused of using a stun gun on a 14-year-old boy after thinking the child had stolen a bicycle.
Michael Yeager, of Bennington, pleaded not guilty Monday to felony counts of assault, robbery and aggravated stalking of someone under 16.
The Bennington Banner reports a police affidavit says a teen told police Sunday he was riding his bike when a man in a van followed him. The boy said the man told him the bike was stolen, shocked him in the arm with a stun gun, then took the bike.
The boy's father said the bike was bought three months ago and showed police a receipt.
