Massachusetts begins Commonwealth Care program

Great Barrington, MA – Monday Massachusetts opened enrollment for the first phase of its landmark health insurance program - Commonwealth Care. The program mandates health insurance for all residents and provides health coverage for the state's uninsured and under insured residents. It is estimated about 4,400 people in the Berkshires will fall into the latter two categories. WAMC's Berkshire Bureau Chief, Carrie Saldo, filed this report;
