MCLA Students Compete In An Entrepreneurship Challenge

The winning team will receive $10,000 startup grant to start their project.

Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts students are competing tonight in a Shark Tank-style entrepreneurship challenge.

MCLA President James Birge says the winning team will be connected to resources and networking opportunities to bring its business ideas to life.

“That team will win a $10,000 startup grant to, to initiate their project. They’ll get an internship at Lever Inc., which is a kind-of a non-profit entrepreneurship, innovation machine in downtown North Adams.”

Six of 24 total teams will be selected as finalists.
