Snow moving in this morning from southwest to northeast by the end of the morning drive in New York and by mid-morning in New England. The snow will become steady and heavy at times. Snow will mix with or change to sleet and possibly rain from the Greater Capital District south and east into the Mid and Lower Hudson Valley and Southern New England. Highs will be in the upper 20s and lower 30s.
7-12" Mohawk Valley, Western Catskills, I-88, Adirondacks, Upper Hudson Valley, Central Vermont
5-9" Greater Capital District, Eastern Catskills, Southern Vermont, Northernmost Vermont and New York, and New Hampshire
3-6" Mid-Hudson Valley, Taconics, Litchfield Hills, Massachusetts
<3" Lower Hudson Valley, the remainder of Connecticut
Steady snow tapers off this evening from west to east with a few snow showers to follow, then clearing overnight tonight. Lows in the teens.
