KOBE BRYANT HAD 42 POINTS IN THE LOSS…OKLAHOMA CITY ADVANCES TO FACE TOP-SEEDED SAN ANTONIO IN THE CONFERENCE FINALS.

ELSEWHERE, THE CELTICS GOT PAST THE 76ERS 101-85 IN THE EASTERN CONFERENCE …BOSTON OVERCOMING A SIX-POINT HOLE IN THE THIRD QUARTER TO GO UP THREE GAMES TO TWO. AND THE ORLANDO MAGIC HAVE FIRED COACH STAN VAN GUNDY AFTER FIVE SEASONS AND GM OTIS SMITH.
