"The Mountaintop" At CapRep

In The Mountaintop by Katori Hall; it’s the eve of his assassination and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (Brandon Jones) cools down in a lonely Memphis hotel room after delivering the speech of a lifetime—when an unexpected visit from a feisty, young hotel maid (Liz Morgan) pushes King into a confrontation with his doubts, fears, and haunting premonitions.

The man behind the public image and the great ideals that formed a new America come alive in a soul-stirring hit play from London and Broadway that is currently running at Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany, NY – directed by Nick Mangano.
