National Forest Wind Turbine Proposal Progresses

Manchester Center, VT – The state of Vermont and the US Forest Service are both beginning a permitting process for a plan to build up to 24 windmills in the Green Mountain National Forest. If approved, the Deerfield Wind project would be the first wind turbines in the nation sited on national forest land. WAMC's North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
