New Civilian Police Board With "Teeth" Promised

Springfield, MA – The essentially powerless civilian police review board in Springfield Massachusetts may get new authority as a result of a public outcry over an alleged case of police brutality. Four Springfield police officers are under investigation for their actions during the arrest of a drug suspect in late November. There was no public disclosure of the case however until a blurry video of the arrest recently wound up on the internet....WAMC's Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill reports....
