New Congress and Governors Could Change Energy Policy

Washington, DC – DURING THE NOVEMBER MID-TERM ELECTIONS, MANY OF THE DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES RAN ON THE PREMISE THAT THEY WEREN'T REPUBLICANS'. THEY TOOK A STAND ON PARTICULAR ISSUES, SUCH AS THE WAR IN IRAQ, RETIREMENT SECURITY, THE ENVIRONMENT, THE ECONOMY, AND HEALTH CARE.
